Hi All,

Thought i'ld start putting up a thread on my new system build. I've just brought a new house which has a nice empty garage :)

After a small compromise with my wife (she gets the utility section on the left) I've now started on the build.

The plan is to split the tanks into separate systems. Still haven't worked out how I'm going to filter it yet but i was thinking of keeping it simple(ish) an have 200 micron filter socks, K1 (fluidised) and mabey some old school trickle towers. After listing to Shelley and Adrian from Seahorse Breeder´╗┐ I think some 1 micron filters inline are a must!

The space next to the sink and the wall is currently empty so i was thinking of putting my cultures on there, small ontop and then work their way down to the bottom just encase anything ever gets out!!

I will keep adding photos as i get further with the project. So far i've got all the mains pipework in (hot, cold and waste) and started to insulate it.

Was thinking of a sump on each system with 200 micron socks, then fluidised K1 media. I might try to get in a trickle tower but not 1000% sure yet.

Some inline 1 micron filters, defiantly on the seahorse system. I still need to draw up that part, need to know how big the RO container is going to be ect so i know the space i have.

Also thinking of running a air compressor on 1/2 PVC with taps coming off for each tank (plus a few extras)
